Who we are

I'm Kris, with a passion for handcrafted goods, local creativity, and thoughtful presentation. Over the past few years, I’ve loved discovering independent markets and artisan products, and I wanted to find a way to share that experience more widely. This led to the creation of The Goodie Crate UK, a personal project dedicated to connecting people with genuine, locally-made treasures.

What we’re making

The Goodie Crate UK is a collection of artisan-made treats, crafted by small independent makers across Britain. Each crate is handpicked to showcase the best of local craftsmanship, including hand-poured candles and wax melts, small-batch biscuits, chutneys, teas, and sweet surprises. We’ll offer three crate sizes: The Taster, The Signature, and The Ultimate Treat, all designed, packed, and shipped sustainably within the UK.

Where this project came from

The idea grew from visiting local markets and realising how much amazing talent exists right here in the UK. However, many of these small makers never get the exposure they deserve. I wanted to create a way for people to discover local treasures from across the UK and support them easily, while enjoying something special themselves.

So far, I’ve developed the branding and prototype crates, connected with several UK-based artisans, and built the website that will handle orders and preferences once the project launches.

Why we care

I believe small UK makers deserve more recognition. Every purchase supports real people, from small business owners and family workshops to the artisans who pour their heart and soul into what they make. The Goodie Crate UK is my way of helping others discover those hidden gems while giving back to the community that creates them.
